An Area Release is used in an area in which you are filming so that people coming in and out of the shot will know they are filmed. It is better to get an Appearance Release for those appearing in your production but not always practical. No one will have to sign this document and it should be enlarged to put on a poster and placed in several locations at your shoot location. It needs to be big enough for people to notice and read.
